Situated in the southernmost Croatian village of Vitaljina in the Konavle region, Villa Royal Palace is a late 16th century private family farmhouse, totally renovated, but retaining authentic original structure. Natural materials, such as stone and wood, dominate throughout the house. The plot of 2000 sq. metres boasts an outdoor swimming pool (featuring the ?swim against the jet? facility) with a Jacuzzi for eight people, lawn, summer terrace with barbecue and children's playground, all surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation. It is ideal for those seeking peace, privacy and a relaxing atmosphere but Royal Palace also offers the unique opportunity for exploring the entire Konavle region whilst being just 20km south of Dubrovnik airport, 40km from the city of Dubrovnik and within 3km from a border crossing to Montenegro.

The villa itself offers a total of 320 sq. metres on two levels - the upper level consisting of living and sleeping area of 160 sq. metres with four double bedrooms, two living rooms, a spacious fully equipped kitchen with dining room and terrace and two bathrooms, one with a massage shower, and the other with Jacuzzi bathtub. On this level there is also a balcony overlooking the pool and lawn area The lower level offers a games room (with pool table, dart board and table football) and a traditional old tavern which was originally the olive mill for olive oil production opened in 1885. The large table in this area can seat 16 people, an open fireplace/barbecue, a bar fridge, oven, dishwasher machine and ice maker as well as a den with a couch and TV. The tavern has an excellent sound system where you can play music from a CD, USB or connect your mobile phone or iPod. On this floor there is also an extra WC which houses the washing machine. The outside areas also offer a badminton/volleyball court to keep you active (racquets and balls etc. provided).
