Muzej Apoksiomena is a fantastic museum located in the town of Mali Losinj that not just those who love history will enjoy. Cleverly designed, the museum is centred around one statue. The statue that attracts so many satisfied visitors is an Ancient Greek statue, also known as the Apoxyomenos. The museum presents an interesting way to learn about Croatian and world history.The captivating bronze statue was discovered 45 meters below sea near to the island Lošinj in 1997 before being removed two years later. The museum is dedicated to the story of the Apoxyomenos and its discovery. The statue has been displayed at some of the most prominent museums worldwide. Be at one with the great outdoors at Cikat Forest Park. The gorgeous park has lovely trails for biking and possesses plenty of imposing trees with sunlight peeking through the branches.
